With Spring right around the corner, I am hoping to give my home a little refresh to ring in the new season! My love of a neutral palette is quite strong, as I love to base most of the rooms in my home with lots of whites, creams and tans. In some rooms, I’ve tried to incorporate some gray tones to add a little bit of cool color, but I tend to play it safe when it comes to the main colors around my home.
With that said, I think seasonal home accents are a great way to add some color to your rooms without feeling as though you have to fully commit to the colors you choose. Pillows are always a great way to do that! Florals are another great way! One thing that I started doing is investing in nice pillow inserts and buying pillow covers as opposed to whole pillows! It’s easier to store when you are wanting to switch things up with a new style! One thing you may not know is Etsy is a really great option for pillow covers! I love buying from the small smaller shops on the site because not only do they sell at a reasonable price point, but they have really good attention to detail and you can get a designer look without paying the designer price.
This spring season, I really want to add some blue hues so I’ve been crushing on a lot of decor that has more of a coastal, calming feel. I really love adding blue because it feels tranquil and is a great transition to summer (I know I’m getting way ahead of myself here, but a girl can dream!). Here are some things I’ve found recently:
