Welcome to my blog, Sweet Home Stephanie! First, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for stopping by my little cozy corner of the internet! Starting a blog has been on my mind for a while, so I am so thrilled to finally make it happen! As a mom of two little ones, it can be challenging to find a creative outlet to express yourself. As an English major in college, I have always had a fondness for writing, but didn’t know exactly how that could fit into my stay-at-home mom life! That’s why I am so excited to be able to share my ideas, interests and life in a different way! I love connecting with other women, especially moms, and I feel it’s so important to use our voice in whatever way we can.
So here’s a little bit about me! I was born and raised in Westchester County, New York and now live in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, Nick and my two kids, Benjamin and Olivia. I graduated from Fordham University in 2008, and entered graduate school for Early Childhood Education before deciding that being a stay-at-home-mom was truly the best fit for me. In my spare time, I love shopping, reading, and being with my family! I love to laugh, and my sense of humor can be a little self-deprecating – I never take myself too seriously! For me, kindness is the most important virtue and it is something that I try to instill in my children everyday. “Work Hard and Be Nice To People” is truly the mantra we try to live by!
My blog, Sweet Home Stephanie will be a genuine encapsulation of what inspires me every day: home, family, food & my own personal style and esthetic. I want this space to represent authenticity and open-heartedness. I hope to showcase lighthearted content that stems from my passions and interests – from mom life to home decor, favorite family recipes to budget-friendly fashion. I also love the occasional DIY project! My style in all things tends to be neutral and classic with pops of color! I hope to convey all that fills my soul and makes me smile. I cannot wait to share all the other random thoughts and ideas that can be found bubbling around inside of my mom brain!
I am so grateful that you stopped by! Feel free to leave a comment, follow me on Instagram (@stephanieteigs) and stay tuned for some new posts very soon!
